when I drew this the very first thing on the page was an ant I found squished inside my moleskine sketchbook. I left it’s carcass there and put a piece of tape over it to preserve his majesty’s legend forever. you can see it in the hi res version, on the left side right above the red fish.

God Carly you’re o fucking talented. this is by far my favorite piece of yours.
